Music is my life Something I depend on when I'm down When my face holds a frown Or when I'm scared to open my eyes. It's like a psychiatrist in disguise. On my IPod it holds the most precious thing. Songs that sings. There is always that one special song That explains how I feel. It's the thing that makes me heal. On my IPod there's that song you have Not because you like it, just because it makes you laugh. And it takes you down the right path. Then you have your favorite bands. The songs you sing in the shower. The song that makes you feel like you have some power. People say I listen to too much music. But they don't understand there is no such thing. They should have listening to music each day will keep the doctor away, Instead of an apple a day. Music helps me fall asleep at night. It makes things feel alright. That there's something you can hold tight. The one thing that can't escape. The one thing that holds you together like scotch tape.
